With 324 exhibits, numerous table-top exhibits, an opening general session, a closing general session, five workshops, lunch, and a reception this will be the largest and most education-filled tradeshow ever! Speakers include Michael Krasny, Ph.D.; Dr. Jeffrey Magee; Mark Roysner, Esq.; John Feather; Julie Burford; Ruthie Keidel, CMP; Eileen Ho, CMP; and Hattie Hill, CMM, HHE.

Registration is now open for MPI's new Webinar E-learning series- offered exclusively to MPI members-being presented by the highly rated MPI conference presenter James Spellos. The dates and the topics for the series are:

March 12th, 2008: Welcome to Wiki-ville: The New Face of the Internet
April 2nd, 2008: Advanced Excel for Meeting Professionals
Each Webinar is $39 USD and there is a bonus option of purchasing all four Webinars for only $100 before Jan. 10, 2008 -a savings of $56. Each attendee will simply need a computer for the presentation and a telephone for the audio, allowing participation from any location. There is a chat feature available to ask additional questions of the presenter during the session to customize the learning experience

Congratulations to the Trade Show Committee as well. It was terrific. I spoke to many suppliers who were really happy with the lead results. We all know the amount of volunteer hours it takes to create a successful show. Good job to the Committee.
Welcome to March! On March 25 we are holding our Professional Education Program at the Marriott San Francisco Airport and the program is sponsored by Tucson! Mike Robbins will present a keynote entitled "Finding Work/Life Balance-Healthy Living on the Road."
There will be two breakout sessions: 1) "Sales Success: Motivating Yourself and Your Sales Team to Strive for Higher Levels of Achievement" presented by Mike Robbins and 2) Kehaulani McGregor will facilitate a panel entitled "Expert Perspectives on International Meetings".
